‘Sayaknama’ is an unapologetically eclectic collection of writings drawn from eight years of Sayak Aman’s Facebook posts—stories, anecdotes, rants, memories, observations and assorted nonsense, gathered here in all their wonderfully chaotic glory.

Funny, irreverent, occasionally provocative and often unexpectedly revealing, these pieces capture the many versions of Sayak Aman across changing times, moods and circumstances. There is no fixed chronology, no particular structure, and certainly no attempt to tidy things up. What emerges instead is a candid, unpredictable portrait of a writer—and a life—seen through the things that made him laugh, rage, ache, wonder and write.
